Chocolate Lolli-Pop Tree

Tea Cup Ranunculus

Black Cala Lilly Bouquet

I love a dark bouquet. Against a white, or off white, dress the contrast is amazing. The added feathers give it that extra punch to really make it sassy!

Rubber Duckie Child's Cake

SERIOUSLY? How cute is this cake? This would be so precious for a child's birthday party. I'm totally in love with all the details, like the grass icing and daisies.

Aluminum Can Centerpiece

The simple things. I, honestly, believe that one could build upon this idea for a very cost effective, creative centerpiece. I like anything simple that you can add ribbon or paper to, to tie together a theme. Though, I love this simple very whimsical display for everyday.

Cards: Just for fun

Photo Inspiration: The Wedding Party Portrait

The cultivated portrait. Don't get me wrong... I love the photo-journalist approach to wedding photography. But, wouldn't it be nice to have a classic portrait of your wedding party? I love the formality of the event and the respect for the day.

Photo Inspiration: Wedding Cake Slices

The next wedding I go to, I want to get this shot of the sliced cake.

Sooooo cute favors and tags

OK, so maybe the reason I am drawn to this favor is because I am Filipino. This palm leaf jewelry box is quintessential of everyday Filipino culture. This would be a great favor for a Hawaiian or Pacific Island themed wedding or party. I love the detail of the faux flower with the co-ordinating colors and name tag.
Cookbooks as favors for your guests! This is a sweet idea for the Epicurean type. I think it's an extremely thoughtful parting gift. And, the possibilities are endless.
I think it was the color, contrast and texture I loved so much about these favors. (Yeah, definitely the color of these boxes...and I believe they are silk dupioni-which gives them that great richness of color!)

Absolutely, love the cut out in this place card setting! And, custom stickers are always a great way of tying the theme and color of your event. Stick 'em on anything (like these Chinese take out boxes). LOVE THE COLOR of the wrapping paper on these boxes! If you can have the table set with the favors on the table, it's a great way to give your table that additional blast of color. Oh...and I think the ornament place settings are so freaking adorable!
Why is everything Japanese so elegant?! I'm not sure if this photo was from an Asian wedding where these were the actual utensils, or if these were simply favors for an Asian theme. Nevertheless, I LOVE IT!

Funky envelope postage: Black with various stamps

STUNNING! So, I can't decide if it's the black envelopes or the myriad of stamps that I love so much about these cards. They, definitely, compliment one another.

Just a sampling of some of my favorite cakes from The Knot.

My 2008 Holiday Card

Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to send out a Christmas card with the Art Institute of Chicago's Lions with the wreaths. I found this image online. It has inspired me to get out there and get my own shot and make it myself! Very Chicago. Very Holiday.
